to Immanuel First Lutheran's Preschool and Daycare. We are proud
of the quallity, the safe setting, and the character of our school
and believe you will feel that you chose wisely when you chose
Immanuel First Lutheran for your children.

- The
school provides a loving, caring community for your children.
The classrooms are air-conditioned, well lighted, and cleaned
daily. The playground is entirely fenced and immediately adjacent
to the preschool building, The children are supervised at all
times.

- Our
teachers and staff are trained in early childhood education and
provide a loving environment and curriculum that will help your
children develop spiritually, socially, emotionally, and physically.

DayCare
and Preschool Curriculum
- The
preschool curriculum provides a fun learning enviroment in the
classroom by using themes and continually reinforcing learning.
It supports standards nd guidelines from the No Child Left
Behind; National Association for the Education
of Young Children; California State Standards;
and The Infant/Toddler Environmental Rating Scale.

- Two-year-olds
develop beginning readiness skills and concepts through active
exploration and creative exploration. Three-year-olds learn
through hands-on exploration, and have fun while experiencing
basic skills and concepts. Pre-kindergarten (four-year-olds)
learn from a curriculum that is continually building a strong
foundation for school readiness by offering a progressive scope
and sequence of learning opportunity.

- Health,
Safety, and Immunizations
-
- Each
child must be immunized and certified by a physician as mandated
by the State Department of Social Services. Forms are provided
in our enrollment packet. We are licensed and inspected by the
California Department of Social Services.

- Prescribed
over-the-counter medicine may be administered only when accompanied
by a note from a doctor and written parental permission.

- Knowleldge
of exposure to any communicable illness must be reported immediately
to the preschool director or staff of Immanuel First Lutheran
Preschooll.

- Lunch,
Snacks, Clothes
-
- Morning
and afternoon nutritious snacks are provided. Each which may
bring a lunch from home or purchase a hot Lunch
Menu
through the school.

- Children
take naps daily using their persoal blanket brought from home.
Sheets will be provided by the school and laundered weekly.

- An
extra change of clothing is required in case of an accident and
will be kept in the child's cubby.
